Headband Frenzy

I'm paying homage to a childhood photo at my parent's house that isn't permitted to come down and that I've always cringed upon glance. I was wearing a headband. Now, I'm bringing them back. Pictured above is yours truly sporting a yellow leather and gold studded headband from Monkee's of The Village. They have (had, anyway) a generous spread, from girlie-wirlie with gold bows, to everyday wear, thin-striped picks. Get yours now, and relish in feeling adorable again.

Forgot to post about this a couple of weeks ago when I picked up these babies from Monkee's at Reynolda Village. Not positive that they still have the beautiful spread that they had when I was there recently, but take my advice and go check it out. With my purchase of the black and gold earrings on the left ($68), I was given the gold studs as a gift. Also, I must mention, the sales ladies are absolutely adorable and super helpful.

Leather Love

mon premier morceau par Hermes

Translation: My first piece by Hermes. Forget celebrating my birthday next year - the day is now replaced with the birth of Hermes in my world. Black leather wrap bracelet with gold turn piece. What an eyesore, no?

I began to develop a love for leather jewelry last winter when I was working at Monkee's of Raleigh and I laid eyes on Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 line. Her Fall 2011 collection did not disappoint. In particular, the Sunburst design is my favorite. I lost one of my favorite black leather earrings so need to find a new partner for my single friend... Search at Singer22 or Nordstrom. Also visit the Monkee's site and find a location near you that may carry HOH.
